Easy Chocolate Bark Garnish – No tempering needed!

Making chocolate garnish can be intimidating when you think you will have to temper the chocolate. But it is not the case! Do you know you can make all kinds of beautiful chocolate garnish to decorate your cake with candy melts? They are easy to handle, dry and harden very quickly.

Let me show you how to make chocolate bark today by using the white and milk chocolate candy melts!

First melt some white candy melts in the microwave, following instructions provided on the packaging. You only need about 1/4 cup.

Prepare a piece of parchment paper. Once the white candy melts are melted, transfer them into a piping bag. Pipe (or just drizzle with a spoon if you don’t want to use a piping bag) the white candy melt on it randomly.

Put this in the fridge for a few minutes to set. Meanwhile, you can melt some milk chocolate candy melts, about 1/2 cup.

Once the chocolate candy melts are nicely melted, take the hardened white candy melt out from the fridge, and apply an even layer of chocolate candy melts on it.

Use the spatula to draw some lines on the entire sheet. This will help us breaking them nicely once they are hardened. Then put this in the fridge to set.

Once they are set, we can break them up carefully.

And here they are! Some cool looking chocolate garnish!
