Chocolate Sail Garnish – No tempering needed!

Making chocolate garnish can be intimidating when you think you will have to temper the chocolate. But it is not the case! Do you know you can make all kinds of beautiful chocolate garnish to decorate your cake with candy melts? They are easy to handle, dry and harden very quickly.

I’m going to show you how to use candy melts to make a little “sail”. This is so easy to make but the result is very impressive!

Mix some white and red candy melts in a bowl and microwave it for about a minute to melt.

Don’t mix it too evenly, it’s prettier to be able to see the different shades.

Scoop a little bit of the candy melt on a piece of parchment paper.

Use a brush to brush this out in both directions.

Next roll the sheet and insert it into a cardboard tube to set, so that they will form a curve. This will harden very quickly in the fridge.

And this is what it looks like once hardened!

Making cool-looking chocolate garnish couldn’t be more easier!
